"A lot has changed for me this series as I feel a lot more comfortable in front of the camera now, and I feel a lot more confident in what I'm doing. I feel I can express my opinion on the character Freddie a lot more and so it's gone really well. I think Freddie has also changed this series, he's come out of his shell a little bit and he's started to make movements towards his life; he's standing up for what he feels is right."

This episode of Skins was my first proper TV job. I'd worked mostly in theatre before, where you work alone, write exactly want you want to write, and hardly anyone ever gets to see it. TV is different, and Skins is completely different - it's written in a team, and watched by millions.

Cook is in prison. After beating someone up at the party (episode 2) in front of a room full of witnesses, he's told by his lawyer that he has no choice but to plead guilty. But Cook isn't willing to accept responsibility and pleads not guilty, and is released on bail.

Cook is told he must return for his trial at a later date. He's fitted with an electronic tag and is told he must to stay at a fixed address between the hours of 7pm and 7am. Unfortunately for Cook, that fixed address is his mother's home.

Cook's mum is a super successful artist, and their home is a mansion and his former home with his little brother. But it's no holiday, as Cook and his mother Ruth clash again and again. Cook is trapped at home. With Sophia's death playing on his mind, and few people to turn to, Cook is helped by an unlikely ally, and he starts to question his actions.

Will Cook do the right thing and escape a prison term?

"Naomi's still got the same attitude this series, but I think she's a bit warmer towards the rest of the characters. She has changed because she's got a bit older and now she's in this huge relationship, and she's never had a relationship before. She didn't know what she was going to be like within a relationship so she's done some things that she'll feel guilty about, but deep down she's the same person.

In this series when she's happy she's really happy, but when she's not happy, it's awful. She's more extreme this series."

"Series 4 is loads more fun already than filming last series, only because everyone's gotten used to it now and it's more relaxed. Also I've finished college now so I don't have to go home and do loads of work! Without giving to much away (ha!), Emily hasn't changed too much since last series, but she is slightly more observant and she's sick and tired of taking rubbish from people. But she's still Emily, just a lot more confident than from the beginning of last series."

"I love playing Cook. Just the physicality of it all, because he's not choreographed either – the Directors are pretty lenient so I get to throw my all into it. Also because I know Cook now, he's a character I'm familiar with. You see Cook develop throughout this series, it's time isn't it. He's got to grow up a little bit, sixteen to eighteen is quite a step."
