He was an uber-nerd in The Office and a thicko zombie in Pirates Of The Caribbean - but now Mackenzie Crook finally gets to play the tough guy. He's landed the role of gangster boss John White in the third series of hit teen drama Skins to be screened on E4 and Channel 4. He told TV Land: "The role is different to anything I've played before and to work alongside the future of British acting talent is a humbling experience." Alright Mac, you've already got the job... Celebrating new talent, two young writers from E4's hit series Skins, Daniel Kaluuya and Georgia Lester, will be giving a Masterclass with the show's creator, writer and executive producer, Bryan Elsley, offering advice on how to get to grips with writing processes and how to make a low budget drama for a digital channel. 3 Actors Confirmed as Cook , Thomas and Freddie QUOTE Jack O'Connell and Merveille Lukeba have been cast as Cook and Thomas on the third series of Skins. Jack's previous credits include This is England and Waterloo Road and Merveille includes The Bill and Ezra. UPDATE Alex@Skinsnations got some info that Luke Pasqualino has been casted as Freddie, yoyu can see a picture of him here, he previously appeared in the skins ad poster with Cassie, which you can also see at the link above Filming is currently underway for the 3rd Series. recently, I found an interesting french magazine interview (Dirrtyglam) one of our favourite actress , Hannah Murray photoshoots and interview related to role in Skins (Cassie). Can any skins fans who are fluent in french and english do a favourite in translate the interview.

DID ANYBODY AUDITION FOR SKINS SERIES 3 Not really "News" but just a general shout out to ask if anybody auditioned for the new series...heck even one of you might have got a role!..... Just thought it be been a cool thing to tell others of your experience!
